Not exactly how any of us had planned on spending our days. At home working, trying to teach our kids, striving to maintain a sense of normalcy for our little ones. Anything that remotely resembles life before we all were told to “shelter in place”.

These photos are from a session last November (that sadly I haven’t shared until now) but they really reiterate what we already knew. All our kids need and want is just to be with us. It’s really that simple. When you’re spending a little extra time with them before saying goodnight, look at the smile on their faces. While shielding them from the madness outside of your door, they’re soaking in all of the moments with you. Make sure you remember to slow down for a minute and soak up all the sweet things happening around you. Life will get back to what it used to be before we know it. Just make sure to savor the little things while you can.
