2019…the year I declare to the world that I love photographing high school seniors!

Seeing these “kids” as they close one chapter of their lives and prepare to start the most amazing next chapter is…exactly that…amazing. As a mom I go into the session with mixed emotions.

Knowing that these seniors are leaving home…leaving their moms and dads to begin the most incredible adventure of their lives is bittersweet. The other day I was talking to this beauty’s mom and she said to me, “she only has 14 more rides to school”.

And that’s when it hits you…just how special these days are. How special each and every single day is.

Maybe that’s why I adore seniors and senior sessions as much as I do. Documenting how these seniors are walking that fine line between childhood and adulthood is quite honestly, so, so beautiful.
