The morning spent with these four was beautiful.  Of course this family is adorable…I mean look at those smiles.  But it was all about stepping back and seeing them as a family of four.  Observing their Piedmont Park adventures.  The kids running on the playground, swinging on the swings, climbing on the jungle gym.  Guys, it was just an honest morning taking in the sweetness that is the R’s morning excursion to the park.  And this just seemed to be the norm.  Part of their weekend routine on their way to enjoy some breakfast.  It’s not often I get to tag along to see this kind of family time, but I have to say, I adored it.  And hope to see more sessions pop up like this.

Because while we all love having that perfect family photo, wouldn’t you rather remember your kids with messy hair, scratches on their knees, and the kind of smile they only get when they are as carefree as birds.  (Wait, is that how that saying goes?) Either way, get out, play with your kids, and be photographed while doing it. I promise you won’t regret it.
