I wish I could explain the whole X-Factor of this session, but I’m not sure I can put it into words.  From newborn Sadie, who was the most alert as I’ve ever seen a newborn, to big sister Joni, who obviously loves her baby sister, but also is completely aware of the fact that there’s a new baby in the house (as evidenced by the first image below). There was so much love for baby Sadie and I just kind of got to sit back and truly appreciate it.

If you know me, you know how much I adore in home/lifestyle newborn sessions.  The beauty and realness of seeing moms and dads snuggle with their babies in their new nurseries…in their bedrooms.  The parents can forget that I’m there and just enjoy the quiet time loving and cuddling their perfect new children.  I just get to sit back and document it.  And if you’re wondering, yes, I am smiling behind the camera the entire time.
