Wish I could put into words how I feel about these portraits, The Face of Childhood series.  Maybe it’s because I’m a mom, maybe it’s because I’m a human, but I’m drawn to the simplicity of a portrait.  A portrait that share more than just a smile.  These portraits tell you little stories about these kids.  They can tell you that a child is shy, mischievous, goofy, bold, brave, and true.  I, for one, believe that’s how we should see our children and every aspect of their ever growing and changing personalities.  They are more than kids. They are complex beings with so much heart and soul and I hope that these black and white images capture their spirits fully.
