Sweet Izzy and I had to endure too many rained out session dates before we formally met last month.  Luckily, the stars aligned, the clouds lifted and the warm spring air appeared for that adorable afternoon. Let me just say that it was well worth the wait.  This little chubby cheeked nugget was all smiles and my goodness was she a ham! So many times I’d catch her smiling right at me that it made me all goofy happy!  And I went terribly overboard with the number of images sent in this family’s gallery.  (You might also notice by the number of images in this blog post.)

But who’s counting?

Sessions like these are everything to me.  When you’re a new mom or a new dad, you’re spending all of your time worrying.  Are her feet cold?  Did she take a long enough nap?  These sessions are meant to stop the clocks and be in the moment.  Smell your sweet girl’s head and smoosh faces with her until you can’t stop smiling.  This little girl received more love, and hugs, and cuddles, and kisses in that session and I was the lucky one there to capture it.

Yes to more baby sessions for me and yes to moms and dads and kids being completely and utterly happy…in the moment….with each other.
