First thing is first. Spring. Is. Here.
After “enjoying” sub zero temps (in all fairness, I chose to go to Canada so that was kind of my fault), I can tell you with 100% certainty that I am obsessed with springtime in the South. The daffodils are in bloom, the tulips are sneaking through the dirt, and the hydrangea leaves are making themselves known. With those signs of spring, I am so excited to announce Spring Minis! (Along with a few other mini sessions just around the corner!)
Spring Minis will be held on Saturday, April 23rd.
And if that’s not enough, coming this summer, I will be hosting Mommy and Me minis on Saturday, July 16th.

Print your photos.
Been thinking a lot lately about the importance of pictures. Not the digital ones. I know that seems a bit strange seeing as I’m a photographer. It sort of comes with the territory. I know we want pictures every year for holiday cards, senior photos, milestones, but you have no idea just how special and meaningful all of the photos you have had taken will be to you years down the road. Printed, framed, and displayed throughout your home.
Don’t ever put off taking or printing that photo. Your hair doesn’t need to be perfect. Your weight doesn’t matter.
In the end, no one is going to look at your photo and think anything other than how much that photograph means to them. What’s even more important is how those framed photos impact your children. Having your children see themselves on your family’s walls boosts their self-esteem, confidence, and shows them that they belong. And when you have kids, you know how all of this matters more than anything.
If you have wanted to document your family, your children, your lives, I hope you will reach out.
