About two years ago, I wrote this post on my food blog, You Are What You Eat..Or Reheat, about an incredibly fabulously delicious cupcake shop in the Marietta Square.  I’d recently moved to the burbs, so discovering Miss Mamie’s  was nothing short of wonderful. I guess I thought places like this only existed in trendy neighborhoods. After all, aren’t the burbs littered with nothing but chain restaurants and big box stores?
Clearly I’d had it all wrong. So the cupcake adventure was on. As was my camera, clearly.

But two years later something big happened.
Miss Mamie competed on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars.

And she won.
