Some seniors show up to their session already knowing exactly who they are. It’s safe to say that Hudson is one of those people.

A leader on both the football and the baseball fields, he’s got the kind of confidence that speaks louder than words. Whether he was standing in his jersey on the field or casually tossing a baseball in the air, he honestly brought the same focused energy to every image I photographed.

What I love most about photographing seniors like Hudson is capturing the mix of intensity and ease…but also, his complete sense of humor. One minute he’s giving serious Zoolander Blue Steel and the next he’s laughing mid-throw. And that, my friends, is what makes me adore senior sessions.

We kept things simple: his gear, his game, his style. And it worked. No awkward poses (except those that were completely intentional). No fuss. Just Hudson being himself, exactly how his mom will want to remember this season of his life.

Hudson, here’s to the next chapter—playing football in college. And I have no doubt he’ll show up with heart. Congrats kid!
