Last year, when I photographed this fabulous foursome, I had no idea that a year later I’d be gearing up to photograph their wedding. And in less than two weeks, that’s exactly what I’ll be doing. They decided to take their kids up to their absolute favorite spot, Barnsley Gardens. And while there, they decided to have their time documented.  And it was simply beautiful.  The backdrop was gorgeous and lovely and warm and inviting.  But the family was my reason for being there.  These guys have so much love for each other and I cannot wait to see them become a family.

As usual, this blog entry is a picture overshare.  If you are familiar with my work then you’ll know it’s not just about perfect photo opps, it’s about being able to feel what my subjects are feeling in that moment. When you scroll through these images in particular, my hope is that you’ll feel the love these people have for one another along with the joy and true spirit of what it means to be a family.
