Over the last few years I’ve grown to love mini sessions. If I’m being honest, I didn’t always feel this way. I believed every family should be out there for the full hour long session. That they needed to run and play and be silly while I took my time photographing them. But it turns out, mini sessions are actually quite wonderful. Last month I did a mini session with a local photographer that was just for my son and me. It was 10 minutes. And you know what happened in those 10 minutes? We laughed. A lot. And smiled even more. We had some sweet moments photographed and some of those moments are already framed and hanging on my wall. The point is, sometimes you just need to have that session. Your kids are getting older and you want to make sure you’re getting in pictures with them. And not just because you want a Christmas card. No, these pictures are for you. Mini sessions fill that gap. And I’m so happy to offer them spring and fall. You can even book online. In this hectic world, less clicks mean everything.
