Last week I received an email through the contact page on my site asking about scheduling a session as soon as possible. I’d just had a last minute change on my calendar and was able to have their session that same weekend. Love it when things work out so well. So the Brocks and I met at a nearby nature park for an early and incredibly cold morning session. Did I mention that the ground was saturated beyond belief and within minutes our shoes were soaked? But the Brocks were troopers and powered through with nothing but beautiful smiles from mom, dad, and their adorable Weston. The 45 degree temperature did nothing to slow them down. Although it may have added a little rosy color to Weston’s cheeks.
This family is just another reason in a long line of many why I’m slightly obsessed with photographing families. I loved seeing moments like these unfold over the course of the session. Weston’s ear to ear smiles when he watched as his parents danced all kinds of silly for him… or the looks of love on Caylie and Jake’s faces as they twirled Weston or crouched down to catch him as he ran into their arms. Those are the moments to remember and I am so happy to be a part of that. Thank you Brocks for a perfect morning!
Always have to have favorites and this time it was so difficult to choose. All of the photos were awesome. Loved the interchange between Weston and his parents. He is adorable. So, my choice is definitely the one of him with his arms in the air. He’s so happy and excited. Great job, as usual.
I love how everyone is always laughing in all of your photos. You have the happiest clients ever! These are perfect, Katie!
I LOVE them!! The black and whites are classic… The pictures reflect the energy and joy that I know this family exudes…The movement is fun and happy… Can’t wait to frame some for our home!!
….I can’t stop looking at them…. :))
