Jumping back into sessions was nerve wracking to say the least. How should I act? Should I be less me? Should I be more serious? Should I stand closer? Should I stand farther back? What if it’s too soon? All of these questions still run through my head with each session. And each session proves to be a little different. But every time I step back out there with my camera to photograph you, I’m reminded that while things are different, things remain the same. You still want to make these memories. You still want to hug your babies tight. You still want to remember them at this time of life and even more so with everything that’s taking place in the world. And I may stand a little bit farther away or not shake your hand or wave when we meet, but the rest of it is exactly as it should be.
