Time will only tell if his love of music and especially the guitar will last, but right now, every strum of the guitar makes him happy and makes my heart smile. This week he has started to try to sing along to his favorite songs instead of just quietly enjoying them. He knows (almost) all of the words to “Home” (or rather, he thinks he knows all the words) and Baby Beluga and he sings them every morning and night. I hope that this fascination with all things music never dies because I truly believe music, guitars, whatever instrument he picks up will bring him incredible amounts of joy for the rest of his life.
