We’ve lived in our house for about 3.5 years and in that time we have made a few minor improvements. Lots of paint…lots and lots of paint. And every so often we like to do a little something for Camden whether it’s hanging pictures in his room or turning our living room into Camden’s play room (eek!) since he’s growing up (too fast) and growing really tired of the toys he has. So, when my amazing husband painted our bonus room, we thought it would be neat to paint one of the awkward walls with chalkboard paint. My clever husband found letter decals and before we knew it this amazing wall was born. While it’s not a gigantic space it does fit Camden’s needs perfectly.
His first time putting chalk to wall reassured us that we’d made a great decision. He spent the next hour+ drawing in what can only be considered a “Brilliant Mind” piece of work. He even stopped to pose for a few pictures. And yes, that is his official “Cheese” face. I have to say the boy is passionate about his chalk art as witnessed by the chalk dust on the tushy and his commitment to covering every section of that wall.
I love all the ways you show Camden that you love him! The chalkboard wall is brilliant and clearly you made the right choice. I want to do this one day when we have a house! Also, why do you get such amazing light in every room??
He’s really enjoying this latest addition!!! I had a small chalkboard on the wall; I would have loved this!!!!
I love this! And his cheese face. *cheese*
