Christmas has come and gone and life is semi back to normal. There are still signs of Christmas everywhere though…unwrapped presents scattered around the house, Christmas tree and lights are still up, and food (amazingly enough) is everywhere.
Our first Christmas with Camden was a special one. He’s too young to know what happened, but that didn’t stop us from documenting everything; from his evening meeting Santa to Christmas morning and a couple of moments in between. He may not remember his first Christmas, but he’ll have these photos to look back on forever. (Okay, okay, so his mom and dad will have these photos to cherish forever.)
I hope you all had a very merry Christmas creating memories of your own.
Good job, Mama! Looks like he had an amazing time of “oooh lights….shiny paper…..bows to pull off!” LOL
The next best thing to being a kid at Christmas, and the best way to reclaim that childish wonder and joy, is to have kids of your own to do the whole Christmas extravaganza for. It definitely brings back all the magic (and yes, a few new frustrations, too….this year the bottom third of my tree ended up ornament free – THANKS, GIRLS!) and I like to think that the kids will look back on all the pictures of the fun they didn’t know they were having at the time and know that they were loved.like.crazy. 🙂
Happy new year, my friend!!! <3
I am so impressed with your photo taking. I sucked it up for Beck’s first Christmas. I only snapped a few of him and didn’t get what I really wanted (a pic of me and him, a pic of him with my other kiddos etc.) But, in my defense, he was sick and did nothing but scream most of the day! My plan is to pretend it’s Christmas next Saturday and take the photos I missed. Plus his 3 months pictures. That I am 2 weeks behind on. Sigh.
I love the pic of you and Camden! So precious. And is that a photo of the elusive husband? yay! 🙂
Glad you had a fantastic 1st Christmas.
These pictures show a much loved baby! How lucky we are to have Camden in our lives. By the way, he has two great parents.
