So can’t believe I’ve made it to a round 2 of my Day In The Life series. It’s funny, I’m so bad about using my camera to document my own life, that it collects dust Monday – Friday only to be dusted off for my clients. Now that I’m a part of a group of amazing photographers, my handy camera is busy working it with some familiar faces. Luckily, this DITL took place on our last beach vacation. (I promise to one day photograph a regular Monday-Friday where I work in a cubicle and see no natural light between 830-5p, but until then, let’s just enjoy these serene beach moments.)
This was a perfect day to document and seeing my sweet son enjoy his first day at the beach with his grandparents made it that much more special. Of course, the day was peppered with some birthday wishes via Facetime, my dad in his now infamous Pop Pop t-shirt (oh yeah, he had that made…he’s clever that one), some kite-flying that didn’t have the same appeal as it did on our last beach vacation, some Salty Dog sadness, some pouty faces, and some bedtime stories.
Enjoy a little peak into my daily life!
Head on over to the incredibly talented Ashley Daugherty to see her adorable Day In The Life!
I love these Katie! Beautiful skies! I love love love your dad’s shirt, that is hilarious! so fun to see your sweet family 🙂
My favorite moments during our vacation were watching Camden as he scampered from the beach to the pool and back again. The joy on his face became part of the island landscape. He made the most of his time in the “condo”, calling friends, putting his puzzle together, listening to us tell him stories, and looking at himself in the mirror (last photo). As I look back at these pictures, I am reminded of his love of the beach, music, sunlight, the ocean, family and friends. Thanks, Katie for giving us such sweet memories to hold on to.
Love these, Katie! I love your little man with his head in his arms and his milk. Too cute.
As always, great photos!!! He’s really enjoying beach time with those he loves!!!
Camden flying a kite? AHHH! These are MAGICAL, Katie.
