People fall into our lives in the most perfect ways. I was introduced to my sweet friend, Kristen, through a mutual photographer friend in Birmingham. At the time I was desperate to rebrand my business and Kristen had done such amazing work for so many others that I knew I had to work with her. We’ve practically talked or emailed each other every single day since. She created every bit of my web presence and all of the fabulous pieces beyond this site. Just so we’re clear, she’s a brilliant graphic designer in Birmingham, you know, in case you were in need of one. (She’s also a talented photographer, but if I keep going we’ll all just be jealous.) It just so happens that she has a two year old son so it’s safe to say we have a fair amount in common. She asked me to do a session of her son, her sister and her nephew last fall and of course I was thrilled to do it! We met at one of the local meccas for fall photo sessions (luckily the crowds had died down) and spent the afternoon chasing Owen around. His aunt, Kelly, and his cousin, Caleb, were amazing to say the least. Caleb was able to coax smiles out of Owen all afternoon. And Kelly, wow, Kelly was super mom/aunt and showed just how loving of a person she is. I left that session feeling all kinds of warm and fuzzy.
