Everyday I drive by this gorgeous property. The light hits it beautifully. It’s honestly this bright spot on my commute from work to home every single day. And it’s in the heart of Buckhead. I told myself I was going to do a session there one day if it killed me. And as it’s not public property, I knew it would take some sort of act of congress or dumb luck to make it happen. Then it hit me. My friend’s mom lived across the street. So when she emailed me to book her fall session I knew it was meant to be! I pretty much told her we had to make it happen and without hesitation she said it was done. What I didn’t know was that we’d be greeted by two Irish Wolfhounds, horses, and a donkey. Now, if this isn’t the best most specially unique session ever, I don’t know what is.
Now…if I can somehow make this a more common location for sessions then I really will have succeeded!
Oh and one of the best things to come of this favorite session was when the mom ordered a metal print of the donkey for her son’s bedroom wall. That, my friends, made my day.
To see this family through the years, follow the links below. Pretty special to think I’ve been photographing William since he was a tiny baby.
