atlanta newborn photographer | baby lanier | Atlanta Area Child and Family Photographer

When I received the email asking to photograph this lovely little baby girl, I was so excited. The name on the email address was oddly familiar and by crazy chance we had briefly worked together years upon years ago. But it was Hadley’s next email that sealed the deal…she shot me a quick email asking me if I was going to bring props to their session because well, she and her husband weren’t prop people. Okay, so here goes, I’m not either. Maybe it’s because I like to keep things fairly simple. I prefer to photograph newborns with their mommies and daddies right there in their homes…where their real life is about to happen. Where puppies walk into the room and lie down next to the new baby; where the crib and blankets are; where they’ll be rocked to sleep every night. There’s just something so sweet and beautiful about being able to document a newborn without baskets or bean bags, just their family beside them.
This is Lanier- beautiful, cuddly, sweet Lanier. She is so very special and so, so incredibly loved.
