Can I admit something? When I get in my car after finishing a session I scroll through every picture on my camera.  It’s a habit and one that I don’t plan on breaking anytime soon.  Maybe it’s because I’m a total nerd, but I hate waiting to edit the session either.  If I had my way, I’d get home and start editing immediately.  I get so giddy to see the finished image that I honestly can’t wait to post them online.  I’m pretty much like a kid on Christmas morning.  I honestly cannot wait.

My session with Ava was Saturday morning and here I am writing up the blog post so that I can share these pictures with you.   It’s a problem, I know…but a good problem.  I love each and every session for different reasons, but this one really was fantastic.  Although Ava isn’t the biggest fan of spending her time with some silly lady who follows her around with a camera, she makes my job look easy.  With a single look, Ava can turn what could be an ordinary image into something beautiful. And I love being able to document those moments.

Ava is officially 5 years old and this is my second time photographing her.  She’s just as beautiful and sweet now as she was a year ago. Happy birthday Miss Ava!
