Sometimes I get so caught up in sharing images on Instagram or Facebook, that blogging can be overlooked. I hate that. Because this is where I get to share an overabundance of session images. It’s where you get to fall in love with the story of a family session. It’s where you see personalities shine, where you meet the family dog, where you realize you can never be in too many pictures with your children.
Right off the bat I should tell you that I adore this family. Not because they were amazing at their session (although they absolutely were), but because I’ve known them for years. Sometimes you win the neighbor lottery and that’s what happened to my family. We shared a fence with this family and it was the best thing that could have happened to us. It’s not every day you end up with the kindest, most caring neighbors. But the Payne’s were just that. Always warm and friendly, always inviting, and always kind to my crazy son and dogs. Then we moved and I’ve been sad ever since. I swear that if a house opens up nearby, I’m sending them the link and a real estate agent’s phone number. These are the kindhearted people you want in your life. And even if they don’t live next door, I’m still so incredibly lucky to be able to photograph them and watch them grow up and do amazing things. And witness the beautiful bond these three (+Lulu) all share with each other.
